Bathtubs Over Broadway
Steve is the main subject of the award-winning comedy music documentary, “Bathtubs Over Broadway,” distributed by Focus Features, and now available on Amazon, Apple TV, and other platforms.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2018, and was one of the top Tribeca picks of Robert DeNiro, The New York Times, Variety, and Rolling Stone.
Director Dava Whisenant won the Tribeca Film Festival’s Albert Maysles Award for Best New Documentary Director.
The film has won Audience Awards and Jury Awards at festivals such as Hot Docs in Toronto, the Hamptons International Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham Alabama, the Vancouver International Film Festival, the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, the Naples International Film Festival in Florida, the Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan, the Nantucket Film Festival, and several others. A limited release theatrical run began in late 2018.
The soundtrack, including original songs written or co-written by Steve, is now available on Apple Music and Amazon.
The soundtrack is also now available in a gorgeous two-record vinyl edition, complete with 12 page booklet, from Mondo.
